Coastal Haze was inspired by those rare moments when the world seems to slow down—the quiet stillness of watching the horizon, the softness of shifting light, and the feeling of taking a deep breath without realizing you needed one.

Through layers of acrylic paint and textured plaster, I wanted to create a sense of calm that invites the viewer to pause. The subtle movement within the surface reflects the ever-changing nature of water, sky, and memory, while the muted palette encourages a feeling of peace rather than urgency.

In a world that often asks us to move faster, Coastal Haze is an invitation to slow down. My hope is that this piece offers a quiet place for reflection and brings a sense of balance, stillness, and comfort to the space it calls home.
