Chromatic Tide is a reflection on the ever-changing nature of life and the emotions that rise and fall within us. Like the tide, our experiences are constantly shifting—bringing moments of energy, quiet reflection, uncertainty, and hope.

Built through expressive layers of acrylic paint and textured plaster, this piece reveals vibrant passages of fuchsia, cerulean blue, warm orange, and luminous white. Each layer contributes to the story, creating movement and depth that encourage the eye to wander and discover something new with every viewing.

As I worked, I found myself thinking about how memories surface unexpectedly—sometimes gently, sometimes all at once. Much like the ocean, our lives are shaped by rhythms we can't always control, yet there is beauty in trusting the movement. My hope is that Chromatic Tide offers a sense of possibility, reminding us that every season carries us toward something new.
