This piece serves as a memorial to my life at this moment, encapsulating my current chapter as an artist. In creating “Between Worlds,” I aimed to visually express two worlds we often find ourselves feeling that we are in. 

The top portion of the artwork symbolizes my past—representing a time spent climbing the corporate ladder, filled with stress and a sense of unfulfillment. In contrast, the bottom portion embodies my present, characterized by pauses, rest, joy, and creativity. Yet, it’s essential to acknowledge that my current reality still needs the “there.” The past fuels and informs my “now,” reminding me of the lessons learned and the growth achieved.

We all have moments when we find ourselves feeling “Between Worlds,” reflecting on our past while navigating our present. This piece invites viewers to consider their own journeys and the interplay between their past and present.
